:: profile :: Rose Marion Tyler was born in London, UK, in 1987 to Pete and Jackie Tyler. Her father died when she was six months old in a car accident, so then it was just Rose and her mum. She left school without taking her A-levels, and at 19 she was working as a shop assistant at Henrik's in London. It was when she was 19 that Rose first met the Doctor. Her life hasn't been the same since. Rose was his companion for a couple of years, traveling with him on the TARDIS and seeing wonders through time and space. She always came back to London, though. And her mother. Mickey Smith was her boyfriend until she met the Doctor and left him to see the universe. He did manage to be a continued presence in her life until he chose to stay behind on a parallel Earth and help conquer the Cybermen. It's that parallel Earth--'Pete's World'--that Rose found herself trapped on after being rescued by Pete. She was about to be sucked into The Void and lost forever, but instead she was transported to the parallel Earth. She couldn't use any of the transporters again because each use would tear a hole in space and time. She was separated from the Doctor, but given a chance to be with her family. It's here that she joins the parallel Torchwood and tries to go on living her life without the Doctor. Regarding Prompts: Rose is taken from the end of Series 4, and therefore her prompts will contain spoilers. However, any interactions with her can be spoiler free if needed. |
